About Jewelry

This African Jewlry was hand-rolled out of recycled paper by women in Gulu, Uganda. Most of the women are widowns, have HIV/AIDS, and take care of their own and orphaned children. The money from these necklaces can pay for half a year school for one child, go towards food to help the hungry children of Gulu, and/or allow the purchase of medicine that can prevent a child's death from disease such as malaria. Thank you for your purchase and please keep the city of Gulu in your prayers as they overcome the devastation of a civil war and the LRA (Lords Resistance Army).
